And of course, that brings shitheads out in force. "The basis of marriage is in God" - um, no. The basis of marriage is a business decision between two families who wanted to join all or part of their assets in a legally binding manner.

Show me in the bible where it says Adam and Eve were married. They weren't, which means Cain and Abel and all the other humans who followed them are by definition, bastards.
