So, one of my suggestions for xmas gifts to That Guy was a signed 'The Last Unicorn' DVD. He ordered it with plenty of time for it to arrive, and it has not, and there is no tracking # so we don't know if it has even shipped.

I'm blaming X and Gwen. X, if you hadn't distracted Conlan Press and Peter S. Beagle by making them concentrate on Gwen's wedding, I'd have my DVD by now :P And Gwen, what the shit is this, getting married so close to a major holiday? I mean, yeah, sure, it'll make the date easier to remember, and little reminders can be tucked into Xmas cards for years to come, but really. I finally think up something for That Guy to get me and you both jinx it! HMPH!

Other than that, the day is lovely and I hope it is for all you out there in LJ land as well.

(I still haven't opened the other presents. I was waiting for That Guy to crawl out of bed. I've been awake since 6:30am..)

I love those guys, but Conlan Press is really undependable about shipping things. I have two outstanding signed book orders, and one is from June. (I'm not going to complain at all, though, because dude -- poem.)

Hope you have a fantastic Christmas! Am chillin' out here at the folks' place, waiting for relatives to arrive. Santa brought me wing chun training equipment so I can continue becoming a ninja.

Yes. I'm not terribly happy about it at the moment. Mostly I feel bad that I told That Guy to order it through there instead of just going to the video store, and he ordered it in time to have it by now. I'm more upset that he didn't get it in time than I am about my not getting it, if that makes sense. I've been sending a lot of people to the site and now I'm left feeling like a tool and wondering who else has been disappointed.

I'm writing to them right now to express how unhappy I am.
