A brief moment of panic.
Jun. 5th, 2009 12:04 pmI did something to my iTouch yesterday that made the menu button stop working. It was stuck in "Music" mode and I couldn't get back to the menu screen. In the process of stripping the silicon cover off to see if there was a way to reset it, the screen went black. I freaked, thinking it had died.
No. That was just a case of finding there's a power button on the top. *facepalm*
After much turning on and off, I hit the menu button and the on/off button at the same time and held them down. The screen went completely white. Then the screen went black. Then it booted with a white apple in the middle. A minute later, my familiar butterfly came back and the menu button worked again. Whew.
I thought maybe whatever demon had possessed my cars had jumped to the iPod Touch. That would have made me sad.

Date: 2009-06-05 05:34 pm (UTC)Also, looks like zer realtor and I will be looking at houses on Sunday. I'm going over there Saturday to have her do the MLS search thingy to find some I want to go see. Bonus: She has a wee tiny norfin troll doll of a baby (he has so. much. hair!) that she said I can hold as much as I want. So if you still want to come with on Sunday, there will be cuddly baby cuteness.

Date: 2009-06-05 05:47 pm (UTC)If we stay together, finding a place is more difficult because it'll be 3 people, 2 cats, and all of us work in completely different parts of the cities. (Edina, Burnsville, and Woodbury.) Keeping our commutes relatively equal will be the deciding factor, aside from pet policy. Ugh.
We found this completely awesome, perfect house on a lake that we would have rented in a heartbeat, but it was July 1st availability and there was no way we could afford to pay double rent for a few extra months on top of moving expenses. Boo. :(
