Vote.

I don't think I've ever felt such fear at an election, watching my paper ballot disappear into the depths of the machine. I got paranoid - did I get any of the special ink over the line so the machine wouldn't count it? Did I get enough special ink inside the circles so it would be counted? Had the machine been hacked? Would I once again get slapped in the face by the fact that the 'one man/one vote' principle this country was founded on is no longer valid by the electoral college?

I'm scared. I'm really, truly scared about this election. If you're on my F-list, are eligible to vote in the US, and you aren't doing your damndest to cast your ballot, I don't want to know you.

I don't care which way you vote, I just feel that strongly that your voice be heard. I don't want an election won or lost because of ennui and apathy. I want it to be a fair fight. I don't want it decided by the electoral college with impunity - I want to see an undeniable choice made by the citizens of this country.

So, if you are able and you haven't already done so, GET OFF YOUR ASS AND VOTE!

Did so, first thing this morning. There was a snake-like line through the gym, but I was out in less than 20 mins. They even had a line of carefully distanced chairs you could opt to use if you didn't want to wait for a privacy booth!
