It's winter and I am boring.

The quail continue to be cute little egg factories. I have a 'bator set up with two button quail eggs and two coturnix eggs. We'll see if they hatch.

Felting continues to be fun and cathartic. Needle stabbity goodness!

That Guy is still trying to convince me I wouldn't freeze solid if I went on a winter camping expedition. He is failing. My idea of winter camping is a hotel with a hot tub and fireplace. Sure.. canvas wall tent, woodstove, hot water bottles and a blast furnace of a human body in my bed, that's great.. when I'm sleeping. There's this little part of the experience called 'getting out of the tent' which involves sub-zero windchill, snow, ice, and temperatures less than tropical that I'm not too keen on.

I'm flattered he wants me to try it, even if I can't get it through his head that really, he never wants me to try it.

Turkey Day will be at my place this year. I think perhaps we'll try the Quorn turkey loaf. The Tofurkey loaf last year was raunch.
