How would you take over a small country?

spookyeviloneImagine a small country which has a history of being torn apart by warring factions, but which is now currently under a stable if strict regime. You need to run this country and you have one year in which to take over total control. If you can't accomplish it by this time, people you love will die, you will die, and some big meanie will kick a small, defenseless animal hard enough to make it whimper. You do not begin with inexhaustible resources - You have an offshore, anonymous bank account with $150,000. in it, a small private plane, a laptop, and a handgun.
Your Cessna is the Cessna400. Your gun is the Glock19 9mm.
How would you accomplish your goal? Could you? Would you even try?
The first thing I'd do is use the laptop to datamine the country's biggest export/imports. I'd find out what was being sold on local internet businesses and for how much.
Then, I'd do some investing and get a legitimate business license for import/export.
