Dodged a bullet.
May. 22nd, 2010 09:38 pmThe drive to, the stay in, and the return from Madison was uneventful from a GI standpoint. Yay for small miracles!
I have The Chassis in the truck. There are poles. There are two huge coffin-sized totes full of canvas and.. stuff. A lot of stuff. Tomorrow, That Guy and I will unload all the stuff and put The Chassis together so I can measure it and figure out what all the other stuff is/does.
Got to hang out with Eithni, who is always fun, and got to see Sir Zig's bar and squee over pugilist pictures. At an estate sale, I picked up an antique copy of the card game Pit that, miracle of miracles, has all the cards AND the instructions that indicate it's the 'new, advanced' copy of the game with the Bull and the Bear cards. My glee, it is so geeky.
Now I am home and recouperating from too many hours (read, three) in the presence of the evil daystar while on blood thinners.
