It's a small world aaaafter allllll..

Oh good lord, my world just got a wee bit smaller.

So.. back in the heyday of the Intardnetzwebz, I was on an IRC efnet channel - #wicca. (Actually, I was on something like 9 of them, but that one was the mainstay.)

A few weeks ago, I started Contract!Job. Second day I was hear, I heard a very familiar voice behind me and thought, ".. Valentine? .. Nah.." and turned. Dude looked just like him. I didn't ask, because I haven't actually seen Valentine since 1995. By rights, I shouldn't have recognized his voice - I met him in person once, for a week, when he came out here to hang with my best friend.

Saw him again at the Kim Harrison signing at Uncle Hugo's yesterday. Once again thought, "He looks just like Valentine, only with no hair.." but I only mentioned that we worked together.

Today, he stopped by my desk and I mentioned that he was the spitting image of someone I used to know and he blinked and said that was him. He didn't remember where he'd met me until I reminded him. Then he blinked a lot.

So, for anyone wondering, he's currently living in MN, has shaved his head, and is apparently married. Small. Fricking. World.

This now makes the total of people from #wicca currently living in MN very large.

Amusement.
