Advice

A friend mentioned that someone in New Jersey had "sugar gliders in his basement". I suspect they're probably actually Southern Flying Squirrels. I got asked how you tell the difference.

Simple. If you get near it, and it makes the scariest fucking noise you've ever heard coming out of a creature the size of your thumb, it's a Sugar Glider. If it squeaks and runs away, it's a Southern Flying Squirrel. The noise in the link? Is about a fifth as loud as it is in real life.

I just had a conversation with mine. "How ya doin', Stinkbug?" "BITCHDON'TYOUDAREWAKEMEUPI'MWARMINHERE!" "Aw.. pokey the Bug in his little Bug blanket." "BITCHLEAVEMETHEHELLALONEGODDAMNITCAN'TYOUSEEI'MSLEEPING?!" "Treat, Bug?" "GODDAMNITCAN'TYO.. treat? Treats for me? Aww! I love you, Mom!"

I love you too, Stinkbug :P Even if you are a misanthropic little shit.

I want one of those so bad. But with two cats, two gerbils, two teenagers and a three year old, I think I should wait.

BUT ZOMG THEY SLAY ME WITH TEH KYOOT!

We were taking care of our friends' sugar gliders and one of them got out and we had to chase her down and catch her to put her back. That was all kinds of fun, and I don't think I've met a critter that could pack that much rage into such a little body.

That sounds made me sad, it reminded me of the noise one of our ferrets made when it got hurt :( She got better, just hurt her paw for a bit and made a horrid noise like that. She fell off the couch when the dog scared her. They loved to climb the furniture and tease the dog.
How are you sugargliders now anyways? I have not heard as much from them.
